A single field on the Anglesey coastline with breath-taking views across Holyhead Bay has the potential to be one of the most picturesque pieces of Wales sold this year.
National Property Consultancy Carter Jonas says tenders to purchase the 1.7-acre land at Penterfyn, which has a £30,000 guide price, close on 19 January and offer an extremely rare opportunity to buy a small parcel in a special location.
The field on Anglesey coastline sale has attracted enquiries from a range of potential buyers according to Hugh O’Donnell, a partner at Carter Jonas based in Bangor.
“The eye-catching location is a big draw, with stunning, far-reaching views across Holyhead Bay,” Hugh said. “But the appeal is varied because the ground is suitable for cropping, grazing, equestrian or amenity uses.
“The market for land in Anglesey is strong so local farmers and horse owners are interested. The location – close to several lovely beaches – and the views from the field will also draw interest from further away from buyers who want to own their own small piece of Wales.
“We have sold land right on the coast before, but it is rare and always attracts additional attention because of its beauty.”
Located close to the village of Llanfaethlu, the land is level and stockproof with boundaries comprising a mixture of agricultural fencing and mature hedgerows. Agricultural uses include grazing and cropping, and access is directly from the public highway.
